Abdulswamad Ali’s strong performance has turned heads, especially given his unconventional entry into politics. A former journalist turned businessman, AA has built a solid public profile by blending media savvy with entrepreneurial know-how to engage voters.

His campaign centers on practical, people-first issues, casting him as a reformist with a clear development roadmap.

AA’s platform rests on three pillars: education, security, and job creation. He pushes for better schools and infrastructure in Nyali, insisting that investing in youth drives lasting growth.

In a smart move, Abdulswamad recently visited Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, famed for revolutionizing education in his area with modern classrooms, upgraded facilities, and key partnerships.

AA aims to adapt this model for Nyali, underscoring its focus on results over rhetoric.

“My main agenda revolves around education, security, and job creation. A month ago, I visited Ndindi Nyoro to learn how he uplifted education infrastructure and standards in his constituency.” AA said.

Splintered field

The poll shows a splintered field beyond the top three: Erick Gitonga (5.1%), Abdikadir Dekow (4.9%), Mohammed Osman (3.3%), Protus Nyongesa (3.1%), Fatma Kushe (2.0%), and Idris Abdirahman (1.7%). Another 1.8% back other candidates.

With nearly a quarter undecided, the next few months are pivotal. Candidates like Abdulswamad Ali can seize this chance to rally support from those craving fresh leadership and concrete priorities.
