Nairobi, Kenya –  Samsung officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, its latest flagship lineup blending compact design, cutting-edge AI, and superior performance.

Announced in late February, the series includes the base Galaxy S26, S26+, and premium S26 Ultra, now available for pre-order worldwide, including Kenyan retailers.

The star of the show is the base Galaxy S26, a rare compact flagship at 6.3 inches with a 1080 x 2340 AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset (Exynos 2600 in select regions), it boasts 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, and a 4300mAh battery for all-day use.

Camera upgrades shine with a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom), and 12MP selfie shooter, enabling 8K video and Galaxy AI’s ProVisual Engine for smarter editing.

The S26+ steps up to a 6.7-inch screen and 4900mAh battery, while the S26 Ultra dazzles with a 6.9-inch display, 200MP primary camera, and 5000mAh capacity.

All models run Android 16 with One UI 8.5, featuring ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, USB-C 3.2, NFC, and expanded Galaxy AI tools like real-time translation and advanced photo enhancements.

Weights range from 167g for the S26 to 214g for the Ultra, emphasizing portability.

Priced competitively, the S26 starts around global equivalents of KSh 120,000 in Kenya, with pre-order deals on Samsung’s site and Verizon. Colors include sleek cosmic hues.
